A $600 bathroom tap that saved over $30,000 in Double Bay

Architect Eva-Marie Prineas renovated a bathroom in an apartment in Sydney’s Double Bay by focussing on keeping the original 1990s Calacatta marble and bath spout. Prineas used gold grouting and colouring to draw out streaks of gold in the marble and chose the Yves Klein Blue colour for the bath spout to complement it and stand out like ‘some nice jewellery’. Felix Forest
