The son of the billionaire founder of Ainsworth Game Technology is suing the family’s former poker machine business in a bid to prevent its major shareholder, Austria’s Novomatic, from taking the company private.
Kjerulf Ainsworth is the son of Len Ainsworth – who founded Aristocrat Leisure before launching his eponymous gaming machine developer – and wants the company to hand over documents related to Novomatic’s attempts to acquire the business. He has long opposed the sale.
