Another renewable energy project in Queensland falls into strife

A global solar company has withdrawn its plans to build a battery storage facility in regional Queensland, less than two weeks after the Crisafulli government intervened on the project.

Chinese solar giant Trina Solar has scrapped its development application for a big battery in Pleystowe, Mackay, but said it would not walk away from its plans entirely and would continue working with the community.
