An Australian founder who splits his time between the Gold Coast and Singapore has quietly built one of Australia’s largest fintech companies, securing a handful of big-name overseas venture capital backers as he seeks to take on the US cryptocurrency payments market.

Raagulan Pathy, 45, is an Adelaide native whose resume includes head of Asia Pacific for now New York-listed fintech and US-dollar stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Group.
