Australian Meat Group leaves door open to bidders after $196m Killara deal

The long-running sale of Australian Meat Group looks to be getting a new life after the meat-processing and export business acquired Killara Feedlot from ASX-listed Elders for $195.8 million last month.

While its corporate adviser, Tenet, has been running the process since 2024, Street Talk understands the family owners have revived their sale efforts after the bolt-on acquisition, pitching themselves as a beefed-up operation. Tenet previously received bids for the business, but these failed to meet the family’s expectations.
