Author murdered rich husband, then wrote book on grief over his death

New York | Kouri Richins and her husband Eric were in good spirits on the evening of March 3, 2022. Richins had just closed a business deal, and had made cocktails to celebrate. But in the early hours of the following morning she called 911 in a panic.
“My husband’s not breathing. He’s cold,” she said, crying down the phone. Richins had discovered her husband’s lifeless body in their bed at their home outside the affluent ski town of Park City, Utah.
