Embattled billionaire Laurence Escalante is facing a slew of fresh drug charges after an alleged assault on his former partner triggered a police raid on his home.
The 44-year-old founder of Virtual Gaming Worlds fronted Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday on nine new charges, comprising three counts of possessing a prohibited drug and six of unlawfully possessing a prescription drug.
