Opposition Leader Sussan Ley faces an even chance of being challenged by Angus Taylor this week despite ending a 17-day stand-off and striking a new Coalition deal with the Nationals on Sunday.
While Taylor and his right faction colleagues had demanded Ley patch up the 102-year-old Coalition, Liberal sources from the Taylor camp said it would not stop a leadership challenge – whether it came this week or in March.
