The transcription business relied on by the federal justice system has gone into administration, imperilling the production of recordings and transcripts that are essential to the day-to-day work of some of Australia’s busiest courts.
Canadian court services giant VIQ Solutions, which has around 600 Australian staff and operates in almost 200 courtrooms nationwide, announced on Monday that an administrator had taken over its Australian operation. The administrator is restructuring firm McGrathNicol.
