Outgoing Tennis Australia chief executive Craig Tiley says he will bring his outspoken views on global tennis to the United States, doubling down on his claims that the sport needs to do more for its players.
Tiley has run Tennis Australia since 2013 and the Australian Open since 2006, making him one of the longest-standing Australian sports administrators. He was announced as chief executive of the US Tennis Association on Wednesday, ending months of speculation about his future as the head of the sport in the country and the Australian Open.
