From Newcastle to Nvidia: meet Australia’s newest data centre titan

Jensen Huang came bearing gifts. The Nvidia chief executive had just announced a £500 million ($940 million) investment in Nscale, a British data centre company founded by Australian Joshua Payne.

But rather than sign a contract to mark the state of their partnership, Huang autographed a box containing a bottle of top-shelf Johnnie Walker Blue Label scotch.
