Fuel supply now guaranteed until May, after which uncertainty looms

Anthony Albanese has reminded regional partners who sell Australia oil and buy its LNG that trade was a two-way street, as the government announced enough extra fuel had been secured to guarantee domestic supply until May, but admitted beyond that, there was only uncertainty.

The prime minister also promised that as more measures were unveiled, there would be no rerun of the COVID-19 pandemic when the states refused to adopt a nationally consistent response and each went their own way.
