Controversial billionaire businessman Clive Palmer says he will run for office in the Queensland electorate of Fadden at the 2028 federal election and has signalled a big spending advertising campaign in the run-up to the poll.
Palmer has revived his United Australia Party for the tilt, dumping a MAGA-inspired Trumpet of Patriots brand he deployed at the last election when he spent $53 million on ads but won no seats in the House of Representatives or Senate.
