I’ve always been sceptical about artificial intelligence. Over the past three years we’ve been promised technology that, after Gutenberg’s printing press, Edison’s lightbulb and the internet, was meant to be the next big leap.
Instead, we witnessed slop videos of F1 cars driving up staircases and LinkedIn posts illustrating how to turn ourselves into Studio Ghibli characters. For those cheeky twins, OpenAI and Anthropic, it was frankly embarrassing – like watching Superman juggling batons at the circus.
