Washington | US President Donald Trump insisted Iran was desperate to make a deal to halt the war, even as Tehran issued fresh demands before it agrees to end the month-long conflict that has wreaked havoc across the Middle East and sparked a global energy shock.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT) peace talks with Iran over the past three days were productive and that the regime was looking for “an exit ramp” from the war.
