Iran says it’s building more missiles; Israel launches new strikes on Tehran

• Iran has continued to strike targets across the Gulf and Israel has pounded Tehran with missiles and drones.
• The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia said they intercepted missiles and drones overnight and into Friday, while Bahrain reported a fire at a warehouse.
• Kuwait shut several units at its Al Ahmadi refinery after multiple strikes.
• Donald Trump is reportedly considering a takeover of Kharg Island, which is Iran’s main oil output hub.
• The International Energy Agency has recommended reducing highway speed limits, limiting air travel and encouraging more work from home as the war continues to disrupt energy supplies.
• Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been booed and heckled at a Ramadan visit to a mosque.
• Tropical Cyclone Narelle is bearing down on the Northern Territory, prompting evacuations in a number of communities.
