Sydney’s Woollahra Council has urged NSW Planning Minister Paul Scully to decide the fate of hospitality king Justin Hemmes’ popular revamp of Club Rose Bay because the operator failed to get the approvals needed to operate on Crown land.
The vexed status of the renovated former RSL club is in the spotlight after a raft of complaints from neighbours as well as formal complaints to Liquor and Gaming NSW since the venue reopened in December last year.
