‘We will go to town’: Joyce warns Libs on One Nation preferences

Barnaby Joyce and leading Liberal Party moderate Jason Falinski say Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has little choice but to cut preference deals with One Nation if he wants to return the Coalition to government.

Appearing at The Australian Financial Review Business Summit on Wednesday, Joyce, who defected to One Nation last year, said the backlash from conservative voters who are deserting the Liberals would be more severe if it preferenced “socialists” such as Labor and the Greens.
