KWM is dead, long live Mallesons. But can the law firm escape its past?

The new umbrellas were meant to arrive next Monday. Big and sturdy, with leather handles, durable stitching and a wide canopy bearing just one name: Mallesons.

Lawyers and staff across Australia have been full of anticipation. Through its storied history, the firm once called Mallesons Stephen Jacques and latterly King & Wood Mallesons has always known how to do rain protection.
