The colourful Double Bay penthouse of late socialite Eileen Bond has sold for $20 million a day before it was scheduled to go to auction and significantly above its $17 million guide.
The sale comes after Bond, the first wife of late businessman Alan Bond,died in Perth in July last year aged 87 after suffering a stroke.
