Lorna Jane rides buy-local trend to run up sales, profit

The chief executive of Lorna Jane says the activewear retailer is benefiting from Australian shoppers supporting local brands, which has helped it lift sales and profits as it expands into wellness travel.

Anna Fowler leads the Brisbane-founded label that posted a double-digit rise in sales last financial year despite a competitive market that historically has been dominated by global giants such as Lululemon and Nike.
