Luke Sayers’ estranged wife wants a jury to decide whether the former PwC and Carlton Football Club head tainted her reputation by telling the AFL she was “mentally disturbed” as he tried to extract himself from a lewd photograph scandal.
In a directions hearing on Friday in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Cate Sayers’ barrister Sue Chrysanthou SC said her client “wished to elect a trial by jury” to hear her claim that Luke Sayers defamed her and invaded her privacy.
