Monash IVF settles lawsuit with families linked to embryo mix-ups

Monash IVF has reached a settlement with the families connected to two embryo mix-ups at its clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane after it was revealed last year that one of its patients gave birth to someone else’s baby.

The ASX-listed fertility company said on Thursday it had reached an out-of-court settlement to “material claims” arising from the two separate incidents.
