One in five Sydney homes sold off-market for the second year in a row, with new analysis revealing it is not just high-end homes changing hands without appearing on a major real estate listing portal.
Analysis by Quiet List, a private real estate exchange, found a quarter of houses and units sold in North Sydney in 2025 did not appear on major property portals such as Domain and realestate.com.au, which have been losing millions in revenue as homes sell pre-market or sellers aim to avoid costly listing fees.
