New Zealand economy grows more than expected

Wellington | New Zealand’s economy rebounded more than economists forecast in the three months to the end of September, with falling interest rates helping to revive activity following a second-quarter contraction.

Gross domestic product advanced 1.1 per cent in the third quarter after it shrank a downwardly revised 1 per cent in the preceding three months, Statistics New Zealand said on Thursday in Wellington.
