‘No bin chickens, no Tom Cruise’: Liveris pitches Brisbane 2032 to NY

New York | Andrew Liveris says Brisbane may be the smallest city to ever host the Olympics but he still promises to put on a very big show, if only the media would get off his back about whether preparations for the 2032 Games are on track.

The head of the Brisbane organising committee told a crowd in New York on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT) that a lot had been achieved ahead of the 2032 event, “despite what you might be reading in the home press”.
