‘No hubris or arrogance’: Drummond’s vow for AFL in post-Goyder era

Craig Drummond has been elected chairman of the AFL and has vowed to refocus on traditional football states, engage with the clubs and decide on a night grand final.

Drummond was elected unopposed on Wednesday to succeed Richard Goyder a day ahead of the season opening game in Sydney, and promised to bring a humble and respectful approach to the administration of the country’s most popular sport.
