Keen followers of all things Apple would be aware of the trouble CEO Tim Cook found himself in for fawning over US President Donald Trump, donating to his inaugural campaign, gifting him a gold-plated Apple plaque and, most recently, attending the premiere of the Melania movie.
His cosying up to the US president has, according to reports, infuriated some Apple staff and customers, to the point where Apple is second on the (alphabetical) Resist and Unsubscribe list of companies that Americans are being asked to boycott for their failure to stand up to the administration’s bullying tactics.
