South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas has stormed to the biggest election victory in the state Labor Party’s history, as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation soared in popularity to outpoll the Liberal Party on primary votes.
The Liberal Party, under new leader Ashton Hurn, tumbled to its worst-ever result as vast numbers of voters abandoned the party and fled to One Nation in a seismic shift in conservative voting patterns.
