Pub matriarch claims children never paid for Gold Coast apartment

Pub baroness Robyn De Angelis alleges her children never paid for a multimillion-dollar Gold Coast apartment they are now fighting over, and it should remain part of the $700 million fortune held by her and her estranged husband.

Robyn, the sister of pub billionaire Arthur Laundy, applied to the Supreme Court of Queensland to join a case which has pitted her four children against each other. Nicole De Angelis-Hood and her brother, Phillip De Angelis, are suing their two brothers, Peter and Marc De Angelis, in a bid to have trustees appointed to sell the Main Beach high-rise apartment.
