Qantas has tweaked its executive bonus structure so that its leaders remain incentivised to improve its reputation even after the airline’s brand recovers from years of turmoil and record-low passenger satisfaction.
The ASX-listed airline’s board also increased chief executive Vanessa Hudson’s salary to $1.7 million from $1.65 million and raised her potential bonuses to bring her remuneration in line with “comparable roles” across Australia and other global airlines.
