Washington | The Trump administration is pushing ahead with a contentious land transfer that will allow Rio Tinto and BHP to progress a proposed copper mine in Arizona, which has been caught in legal tangles for more than a decade.
Resolution Copper, the miners’ joint venture, had a significant legal win last Friday when a court denied requests to halt a land exchange that would pave the way for the company to tap a massive underground copper deposit.
