When Sam Hope quips that he and his business partner Jory Humphreys are going to “take over the world”, you get the sense he might only be half-joking.

H People, the blue-collar recruitment agency that the pair founded in 2023, has enjoyed a blistering start. After finishing its first financial year with just $36,373 in revenue, the company posted revenue just shy of $15.5 million in the financial year just gone, landing it second place on this year’s Financial Review Fast Starters List.
