Four am is the new 5am. So says Robin Sharma, the self-help author who helped create a viral cultural phenomenon when he published his 2018 bestseller The 5am Club.

While seven years is an eon in social media timescales, Sharma’s catchphrase, “own your morning, elevate your life”, continues to inspire legions of smug people – sorry, highly motivated individuals – to share their #5amclub routines on social media, including 6.1 million TikTok posts.
