Two groups are vying to rebuild Gabba precinct ahead of Olympics

Two groups, including some of the world’s leading venue operators, have been shortlisted to demolish and rebuild Brisbane’s Gabba stadium, as the Crisafulli government moves ahead with a controversial plan for the 2032 Olympics.

Capella Capital, Lendlease, AEG and Legends Global – together known as the Brisbane Entertainment Alliance Consortium – will go up against Plenary Group, Live Nation and Oak View Group – known as the Gather Brisbane Consortium – in a bid to deliver the new entertainment and housing precinct.
