The latest on the conflict in the Middle East

  • Fuel transport companies are backing a push for urban rationing to reserve supply for the regions amid calls for urgent roundtable negotiations.
  • Lebanese health authorities say an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon killed 12 medical staff at a clinic, two Palestinians were killed early Saturday by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip, and the IDF reported a “fall” in the north of Israel following warnings that Iran had launched missiles into the country.
  • A missile struck the US Embassy in Baghdad, hitting a helipad, and five US Air Force refuelling planes were struck and damaged at Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia by an Iranian missile strike.
