‘One Battle After Another’ takes best picture prize at the Oscars

Los Angeles | Darkly comic thriller One Battle After Another claimed the coveted best picture prize at the Oscars, winning a close contest with the vampire story Sinners at the highest honours in the film business.
The film also won best director for Paul Thomas Anderson, who was recognised earlier in the ceremony for best adapted screenplay. They were his first wins from 14 nominations.
