Ruslan Kogan, founder of online retailer Kogan.com, says he has made a lot of mistakes, but one stands out.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when sales were strong, there was an expectation that the pandemic would continue for years, so Kogan bought up big. So much so, the company had to pay penalty charges because it did not have enough space in its warehouses to store all the stock.
