Why Anthropic’s fight with the Pentagon looks very Chinese

If it weren’t for its lawsuit against the Pentagon, artificial intelligence frontrunner Anthropic could be forgiven for thinking it was operating in China rather than the US.

First, its systems, like those of Chinese military and technology companies, are being used in a Middle East war. Second, US officials have labelled it a national-security supply chain risk, as they have with numerous Chinese companies.
