Woolworths rejects claims former executive worked 120-hour weeks

Former Woolworths chief executive Brad Banducci has rejected allegations made by a former senior executive at the supermarket giant that he required her to work while sick and when she was being treated for cancer, and denied he had demanded Miwah Van work four jobs at once.

Van, the company’s former chief growth officer, is suing Woolworths in the Federal Court and alleging she was forced to work as many as 120 hours per week and told to “drink from a fire hose” when she complained.
