Investment banking veteran John Wylie moonlights at BlueScope

Veteran fund manager, battle-hardened investment banker, activist investor. Credit Suisse boss turned Tanarra Capital chief executive John Wylie wears many hats. Now he’s got a new one to add to the stand.

Wylie is working as an informal advisor to the board of BlueScope Steel as it navigates a $14.2 billion bid from Stokes family-controlled conglomerate SGH Limited and its Nasdaq-listed bidding partner Steel Dynamics.
