From high school frustration to $708k in revenue in three years

Edward Robinson loved science at school but not the way it was taught. So he decided to change it, channelling his angst into an aerospace start-up.

Edward Robinson’s company Robinson Aerospace manufactures RASCube – an educational satellite kit for students that allows them to build a functional replica of a satellite, collect live data wirelessly, and conduct experiments. 

When Edward Robinson was studying science at school, he was unhappy with the way it was taught.

Teaching was based on passing exams and scoring a good ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank), rather than getting students excited about how science was used in the real world.
